Terms of Service

1. Service
FitExerciseDB ("we", "us") provides a paid REST API delivering structured exercise metadata (the "Service") to developers and businesses ("you", "Customer").
2. Account
You must register an account using a valid email and keep your credentials secure. One natural-person account at launch.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- bulk-export the dataset
- redistribute, resell, or sublicense the data in raw form
- use the Service to build a competing public dataset
- train ML/LLM models on the data without separate written license
- circumvent rate-limits or anti-leak measures
4. Plans & payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in USD via Stripe. Annual plans receive a 20% discount. Prices and quotas are listed at /pricing.
5. Cancellation & refunds
Subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from your dashboard); the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — full access continues until that date, then billing stops and the key reverts to the free tier. No mid-period refunds. Marketplace single-asset purchases are final once the unwatermarked file is delivered. Statutory consumer-protection rights (e.g. the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts where applicable) prevail over this clause. See Cancellation Policy.
6. Termination
We may terminate accounts that violate Section 3, including identification via per-account canary fields embedded in API responses.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes go before the courts of Paris, France.
